Tomlinson, admitting his injured groin was painful, told NFL Network viewers that his status for next week's playoff game is uncertain. "Hopefully, with another week of rest it does (feel better.) But I'm not going to make any guarantees," Tomlinson told NFL Network correspondent Willie McGinest.

HC Norv Turner told reporters that Tomlinson received extensive treatment during the halftime break, but the star halfback couldn't go in the second half. The Chargers were still able to run effectively with Michael Bennett spelling Darren Sproles, who rushed 23 times for 105 yards, caught five passes for 45 yards, had 106 yards on four kickoff returns and 72 on three punt runbacks.
