Peterson did not play on the Vikings’ first two offensive series as Minnesota took an early 14-0 lead. Chester Taylor started in place of Peterson and scored on a 3-yard run to give the Vikings an early 7-0 lead.

Peterson got in on the third series, an indication that the move was disciplinary in nature.
