The Facts:
HC Gary Kubiak said from what he understands, the Texans may have to go at least the next two weeks without Green backing up Steve Slaton. Green frowned when asked about such a timetable, and said that he is a "fast healer." He will have an MRI done Monday on his left knee.

Last year, Green injured the same knee in the first game. He didn't heal very fast. He played sparingly in six more games before landing on the injured reserve. ... Green said he will do all he can get back on the field for the Monday Night Football game against Jacksonville.
