Jacobs left the Giants’ 30-10 win over the Ravens on Sunday with a sore right knee during the second half and didn’t return to the game. Jacobs finished the day 73 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.

What remains to be seen is how serious the injury is. Both Jacobs and coach Tom Coughlin categorized the injury as “sore,” and Jacobs said he could have returned to the game if necessary (he was
in attendance at a Knicks game later in the day). With Ahmad Bradshaw and Derrick Ward combining for 137 yards on 20 rushes and the Giants leading, Jacobs remained on the sidelines. Coughlin was vague when asked what his level of concern was regarding the injury. "I will see,” replied Coughlin. “I don’t know what to say about that. I know that he is sore. ...” More to come.
