Chatman was taken off the field on a stretcher after being hit hard in the chest at the end of an 11-yard run. He lost a fumble that was recovered by the Eagles.

Chatman was strapped to a back board and wheeled off the field. X-rays were normal and Chatman had full movement in his arms and legs. He was taken for more diagnostic tests. Coming into the game, Chatman was third on the team with 20 catches.
