The Facts:
Jacobs did not seem worried after sitting out most of the second half in Sunday’s 30-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens with swelling in his knee. The Giants, however, were concerned enough to send Jacobs for a precautionary MRI exam on Monday. “There is a little swelling,” HC Tom Coughlin said. “He is walking really well. They are going to do all of the tests. But hopefully we can get this under control.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jacobs seemed well on the way to becoming the first back in 29 games to run for 100 yards against the Ravens, who came into Sunday boasting the NFL’s top run defense. But Jacobs was limited to two carries in the second half and finished with 73 yards and only 11 attempts. He scored two touchdowns in the first quarter as the Giants scored on their first three possessions to build a 20-0 lead. ... All indications are he would have returned if needed yesterday, but we'll continue to keep a close eye on his status and progress in coming days.
