The Cowboys benched Brad Johnson to start the second half of today's game against the Giants. Bollinger opened the third quarter under center.

The initial results were not favorable. Bollinger was intercepted on his first pass attempt by James Butler. On the Giants’ second play of the ensuing drive, Brandon Jacobs scored on a 12-yard touchdown run to put the Giants up 28-7. Still, Bollinger subsequently connected with Terrell Owens for a touchdown. And he couldn't possibly do worse than Johnson, who finished the day after hitting 5-11 attempts for 71 yards and two interceptions.
