The Facts:
NFL Network's Adam Schefter is reporting there's fear that Brady suffered ACL and MCL damage to his left knee during Sunday's win over Kansas City. In fact, he could be lost for the remainder of the season.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While Brady's official status is unlikely to be announced until an MRI can be performed, Schefter joins a growing -- and credible -- list of those who believe Brady's season is indeed over. If that's the case, Matt Cassel would take over the reins of the offense (although Chris Simms will work out in New England tomorrow). As NFL.com notes, Cassel was dreadful in the preseason, but he still put together a nice stat line (152 yards, 1 TD) against the Chiefs. He certainly demonstrated the ability to hit Randy Moss. Either way, Cassel will be first man taken when your league's waiver wire goes live.
