Johnson, who sustained a sprained left shoulder early in the pre-season loss Sunday night to Detroit, was at Paul Brown Stadium this morning to receive medical treatment. He vowed as he left the building to play in the regular season opener Sept. 7 at Baltimore.

Johnson recently made great strides in returning from ankle surgery June 18 and played in both of the first two pre-season games. HC Marvin Lewis said Sunday night that Johnson would not play in the third exhibition game, Saturday night at home against the Saints.
