Childress: Tarvaris Jackson Could Play Saturday
(8/19 12:57 PT)

The Facts:
HC Brad Childress said Jackson was limited Monday in practice but he wouldn't rule him out for Saturday's upcoming game against Pittsburgh. "Guys don't always feel chipper the first part of the week when they get dinged up but they find a way to push to Saturday," Childress said. "That's how he's approaching the thing and that's how we're approaching the thing." Reported by the St. Paul Pioneer-Press

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jackson suffered a sprained right knee Saturday at Baltimore that's expected to sideline him indefinitely, though Jackson should be available to play in the regular-season opener Sept. 8 at Green Bay. That means it's doubtful that Jackson will play this weekend despite the coach's comments.
