McCarthy: No sign of Brett Favre; Rodgers No. 1

The Facts:
In his pre-camp press conference, HC Mike McCarthy told the assembled media he doesn't know if Favre will report for training camp tomorrow. The coach did, however, stress that Aaron Rodgers is the Packers' starting QB whether Favre shows up or not. "Brett Favre retired," McCarthy said. "We have moved forward."  Reported by FootballDiehards.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While the concedes that Favre has changed his mind about calling it quits, McCarthy questioned the veteran signal caller's commitment. And of course, Favre has yet to send his request for reinstatement to league headquarters -- something he must do before reporting to camp. ... Stay tuned.
