Jacobs re-signed with the Denver Broncos on Saturday after Edell Shepherd injured his knee. Shepherd, a fifth-year player who joined the Broncos as a free agent in March, blew out his left knee on the first day of workouts Friday. He was placed on the team's reserve/injured list.
