The Facts:
According to NFL Network insider Adam Schefter, the Packers have spoken to multiple teams to see what they would be willing to offer for Favre. This hardly means the Packers will wind up dealing Favre. But at least they are debating the merits of it, reaching out to teams to inquire what Favre would bring in return.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It is unknown exactly how many teams the Packers have spoken with (although the Ravens have been mentioned); what is known is that they have not limited their exploratory calls to AFC teams. Schefter reports that Green Bay has called at least one team in the NFC as well. ... Some observers have suggested this is simply an effort to gauge possible value before taking further steps. By contacting other teams and fielding any potential offers, the Packers then can make a more informed decision about whether or not it is worth trading Favre. And it remains to be seen if Favre is really willing to play for a team not of his choosing (or if he'll play at all). Stay tuned.
