GM Let's Anquan Boldin Know He Cares
(6/30 12:31 PT)

The Facts:
GM Rod Graves spoke to Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for Boldin about a week ago. It was more of a courtesy call, however, with Graves reiterating that the club would like to sign Boldin to a new deal. Boldin has three years remaining on his contract and recently told the team's Web site that he was unsure he would report to training camp this summer on time. Reported by the Arizona Republic

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Boldin is scheduled to make an average of about $4 million a year and wants a substantial raise after teammate Larry Fitzgerald signed a four-year, $40 million deal earlier this spring. Republic staffer Kent Somers advised readers, however, that it would be a surprise if the two sides agreed to a deal this summer with Graves admitting the need to retain cap space for unforeseen emergencies making sometime this fall a more realistic time fram for a new deal. Meanwhile, Pro Football Weekly doesn't believe Boldin is really ready to hold out. Neither do we.
