The Falcons agreed to terms with Douglas, their third-round draft pick. Douglas, the 84th overall selection, has agreed to a four-year deal. He finished as Louisville's fifth-leading receiver.

The selection of Douglas, a 5-11, 176-pound wide receiver from Louisville, seems likely to signal a move to a smaller Wes Welker-type slot receiver in OC Mike Mularkey's scheme. The AJC has suggested that's not good news for Joe Horn or last year's slot receiver Michael Jenkins.
