Even though his health and state of mind were a complete mystery, Johnson took the field on Thursday afternoon and went through drills and receiving lines like it was the old days after sitting out the morning with what the team called a back problem. Rosenhaus said Thursday he has documentation that the team wants Johnson to have surgery on his ankle, similar to the scope that sidelined him for two weeks a few offseasons ago. The Bengals confirmed they have recommended since the end of the season that Johnson get the surgery. ... Again. It's safe to assume we'll be hearing more about Johnson. Stay tuned.
