Scheffler made his first appearance at mini-camp Thursday since reinjuring a bone in his left foot while running a route May 19. "I don't know if it was scar tissue or what, but I heard a pop," Scheffler said. "We've just been a little cautious with it, and it feels good now."

Scheffler spent the rest of May wearing a protective boot and was fitted for new shoes and orthotic inserts earlier this week. He said he expects to participate in the second half of this mini-camp next week and said he has "no doubt" he'll be fully recovered by the time training camp starts next month.
