The Jets' first mini-camp practice began at 10:20 a.m. and, as expected, the disgruntled tight end is on the field. The boycott is over -- temporarily, anyway.

By league rule, any player that misses a mandatory mini-camp is fined about $8,500. That's the only reason Baker is here. Apparently we could hear some interesting comments after practice, when Baker meets the media and pleads his case for a new contract. According to Daily News staffer Rich Cimini, Baker is not going to be kind to the organization.
