Shockey hasn't been around the entire offseason -- which has been the norm in past seasons. The difference? Recent trade talk with New Orleans and speculation that Shockey is unhappy with his situation. The Giants have stated publicly on a number of occasions that they want Shockey back, and quarterback Eli Manning has been emphatic in his desire to keep the Pro Bowl tight end. If he were to miss the mini-camp, he would be subject to fines.
