LaMont Jordan Gets Permission To Seek Trade
(6/3 2:45 PT)

The Facts:
Jordan's Raiders career is all but over. That much crystallized Tuesday, when he was informed by HC Lane Kiffin in a pre-minicamp meeting that the Raiders intend to move forward without Jordan. Jordan's agent, Alvin Keels, said he has received permission from the Raiders to seek a trade. Reported by the Oakland Tribune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
"We have not had any success at this point in doing so because there are many moving pieces to such a trade" Keels told the Tribune via e-mail. "However, with new developments going on around the league, maybe something can be done in the coming days. ..." Injuries and the emergence of Justin Fargas cut into Jordan's playing time the past two seasons. His departure became all but certain in light of the Raiders re-signing Fargas to a $12 million contract, the arrival of running back Darren McFadden via the NFL draft and second-year player Michael Bush's recovery from a broken leg.
