Warrick Dunn Not Ready To Be A Role Player?
(5/18 1:59 PT)

The Facts:
It is clear that Dunn still wants to play and produce, and he has an unmistakable message for anyone who thinks the Bucs brought him here to be a spare part. "I would never consider myself a third-down back. It's not my mentality. I don't play the game that way," he said. "I don't think coach Jon Gruden brought me here just to play on third down." Reported by the Tampa Tribune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
If you believe Gruden, Dunn will get his chance. ... "I see him as being a front-line guy," the coach said. "He is going to play a lot. ..." With the Bucs, Dunn figures to be used more as a receiver than he was with the Falcons. A year ago, Earnest Graham (who is skipping the off-season program while hoping for a contract extension) led the Bucs in rushing with 898 yards and 10 touchdowns in 10 starts. But Gruden believes Dunn can produce more big plays. A year ago, Graham's longest run in 222 carries was 28 yards.
