The Facts:
Johnson, the Cardinals No. 3 receiver, is "unlikely" to return to the club, his agent said Wednesday. Joel Segal said he is negotiating with three teams and indicated he hopes to have a deal done by Friday.

Larry Fitzgerald, upon signing his new contract Tuesday, had indicated he hoped the Cardinals would be able to retain Johnson. It doesn't look like that will be the case. ... Steve Breaston, a kick returner and reserve receiver last season, could be a candidate for the Cardinals' next No. 3 receiver behind Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin. Jerheme Urban, Ahmad Merritt and Jamaica Rector are also candidates.
