The Titans hosted Carter on a free agency visit on Thursday. As noted in
a previous item, he was joined by receiver Justin McCareins (Jets).

Carter had 38 receptions for 517 yards for Carolina last season, his fourth season with the team. Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt said the team currently has no other receivers scheduled to visit, which means whatever interest the team might have had in D.J. Hackett has diminished.
