Green Bay expressed interest in Gray several weeks ago, and it's entirely possible he will be the team's top target among unrestricted free agents.

Brett Favre's retirement makes room for an additional QB behind new starter Aaron Rodgers and aging backup Craig Nall. Gray made the first four starts of his career in 2007 and posted a 2-2 record. Throwing just 180 passes in 11 games, he has a passer rating of 88.5. ... Other unrestricted free agents of interest would be Mark Brunell, Trent Green, Gus Frerotte, Tim Hasselbeck and Daunte Culpepper. David Carr, Byron Leftwich and Trent Green are also possibilities.
