The Titans are scheduled to host McCareins on a free agency visit on Thursday. "They said they wanted to meet with him and we'll see where it goes from there,' agent Cliff Brady said.

McCareins was a fourth-round pick of the Titans in 2001 but was eventually traded to the Jets for a second-round pick. He was released by the Jets prior to free agency and has been waiting for the Titans to reciprocate his interest. ... McCareins caught 47 passes for 813 yards and seven touchdowns for the Titans in 2003 and is said to have a solid relationship with new OC Mike Heimerdinger.
