Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Bucs will assume Griese's contract. Tampa Bay has been trying to broker this deal for at least two years, Cindrich said. Griese also drew interest from Houston and Texans coach Gary Kubiak, who was Griese's offensive coordinator in Denver. Griese played with Tampa Bay during the 2004 and '05 seasons.
