Lions Not Ruling Out Tatum Bell's Return
(2/23 8:15 PT)

The Facts:
The Lions are in the market for a free agent running back and, now that offensive coordinator Mike Martz has left for San Francisco, the Lions are considering the possibility of re-signing Bell. Reported by Booth Newspapers

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Bell fell out of favor with Martz early last season and found himself at the bottom of the depth chart for most of the year. MLive.com's Tom Kowalski notes this morning that several offensive coaches -- including new OC Jim Colletto -- like Bell's speed and running ability. The Lions have talked to Bell and say he's open to returning because Martz is gone. That said, the Lions are going to look at free agent candidates like Michael Turner and Julius Jones, but money is going to be a consideration in the decision. The Lions want a quality back with speed and they'd also like to re-sign T.J. Duckett.
