Ronnie Hillman Heading For Make Or Break Training Camp?
(5/18 12:43 PT)

The Facts:
Hillman is No. 2 because of four. The latter represents his number of fumbles over the past two seasons, sending him from training-camp darling to a player whose hands have him white-knuckling a roster spot. PC Adam Gase made it clear improvement is needed. "We've talked to him, (running backs coach) Eric (Studesville) and myself, as far as: 'Hey, this is a new start to the year. Whatever happened in the past, you've got to build off it. We've just got to start over,'" Gase said Saturday.  Reported by the Denver Post

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
With Montee Ball primed for bell-cow duties, Hillman finished last season behind C.J. Anderson, who earned the team's trust down the stretch as a rookie. Asked if Hillman was in a fight for his roster spot, Gase told the Post: "I can't say make or break, because I don't know what that is. He's got to work his butt off and make sure he puts himself in a great position to contribute this year. ..." And he needs to hold onto the football. At this point, fantasy football owners shouldn’t be expecting much.
