Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The wide-spanning time frame is the result of a lack of firm scheduling at this point between the Dolphins and Manning. Manning traveled to Denver Friday for a meeting with Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway, a league source told NFL Network's Albert Breer. Manning toured the Broncos facility before leaving early Friday evening but he is spending the night in Denver. The Denver Post reported that Manning is expected to visit the Cardinals and then the Dolphins in coming days. ... Meanwhile, the Jets granted Mark Sanchez
a contract extension, taking themselves out of the running. On the other hand, Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt said on Friday his team is still in the mix. If nothing else, it would make sense for the Chiefs to at least try to drive the price up in case the Broncos have a shot at Manning (and the Broncos should do the same in case the Chiefs have a shot at him). The
Redskins traded for the No. 2 pick overall in next month's draft, but say they still want to talk to Manning. ... Stay tuned. More to come.
