Jacobs leaves the Giants as the fourth-leading rusher in team history with 4,849 yards. His 56 rushing touchdowns are the most for any Giant. ... Meanwhile, the Giants have some young RBs, including D.J. Ware, Da'Rel Scott and Andre Brown, but they also could look on the free-agent market or in the draft for someone to replace Jacobs' carries and production. ESPN notes that Michael Bush and Mike Tolbert are both free-agents who have performed well in committee roles in recent years and would fit well if the Giants decided to go in that direction.
