Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Gregg Rosenthal notes, the Eagles need red-zone help. That's basically Burress' role at this stage of his career. It was reported by Adam Caplan of SiriusXM that the Eagles would have interest in Burress and based on his lackluster season with the Jets, there shouldn't be a great deal of competition for his services. The Jets paid Burress $3 million on a one-year contract last offseason. There was an element of risk because no one knew what Burress would look like after his prison sentence. Now, as Rosenthal contends, we all know what Burress looks like: A role player.
