Despite spending two of their first four picks in last year's draft on wide receivers and then acquiring Evans in a trade, the Ravens remain on the lookout for at least one more explosive receiving threat for Joe Flacco.

Evans is expected to either be released or have his contract restructured. A stout group of free agent receivers and the preponderance of big rookie receivers with questionable speed suggest that free agency would be where the Ravens would prefer to land the dynamic receiver they are looking for. After another injury filled season, Evans will likely be no more than veteran depth moving forward, regardless of the uniform he wears.
