The Facts:
Last week the Vikings removed the DC title from Fred Pagac. This week they're interviewing potential replacements. The Vikings requested permission to interview Colts defensive backs coach Alan Williams for the DC position, and the interview is set to take place on Tuesday morning, Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports.

Williams has been with the Colts since 2001 and worked with Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier when both men were on the Colts' staff in 2005 and 2006. The Colts have not yet announced whether head coach Jim Caldwell will return, so it's not known whether he'll still have a job in Indianapolis if he doesn't get the job in Minnesota.
