The Facts:
Sal Paolantonio of ESPN reports that Foster said during a pregame, on-field discussion that he “hates” FieldTurf. (Technically, the Ravens use Sportexe Momentum.) Paolantonio points out that Foster was “slipping and sliding” while trying to cut back on running plays during the game played between the two teams in Baltimore during October.

Foster also said he plans to use the same style of cleats that he wore the last time around — for now. He rushed for only 49 yards on 15 carries during the first game between the two teams. As PFT's Mike Florio notes, Foster played only two other games on artificial surfaces this year. In Cincinnati, Foster gained 41 yards on 15 carries. Against the Colts, however, Foster churned up 158 yards in 23 carries on FieldTurf. ... In other words, the opponent matters. Today's will be tough.
