The Facts:
Crennel’s agent, Joe Linta, confirmed to Adam Caplan of Sirius/XM that Crennel has agreed to a three-year deal with the team. “The Chiefs were very fair with Romeo and he’s excited to become head coach,” Linta said. “He’s looking forward to building on the resurgence from late last season.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Michael David Smith notes, that resurgence was a 2-1 record as interim head coach after Todd Haley was fired 13 games into a disappointing season. Now Crennel will get a chance to build on that record -- and to show that he’s a better head coach than his disappointing tenure in Cleveland would suggest.
