Eric Decker's Injury Believed To Be MCL; MRI Pending
(1/8 6:57 PT)

The Facts:
Tim Tebow threw a medium-range pass to Decker on a crossing pattern in the first half. The play was spoiled by replay. Even worse, the vicious tackle at the knees of Decker by James Harrison sent Decker limping to the sideline. He never returned. But the injury turned out to be not as serious as it looked. Decker likely suffered a sprain of his medial cruciate ligament (MCL) and not an ACL tear. Reported by the Denver Post

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Decker is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday but it's hard to imagine him being ready for next week's Divisional Playoff game in New England. As Profootballtalk.com noted, Decker was Tim Tebow’s favorite receiver earlier in the season, but Demaryius Thomas has taken over lately as the team’s biggest playmaker at the position. Eddie Royal will continue to play a greater role with Matt Willis likely to get more snaps, too.
