This after ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Schaub would indeed miss the rest of the season. According to Houston Chronicle staffer, Schaub is hoping a second opinion next week will help him avoid surgery. But, McClain added, if surgery is necessary Schaub will miss the rest of the year. So it sounds like Kubiak is just saying what he has to say until the official verdict is in. ... So stay tuned but plan accordingly: As if Matt Leinart will be Houston's starter for Week 12 and beyond.
