The Facts:
Matthew Stafford was asked about an injury to Johnson, who sat out the final series Sunday. Johnson took two hard shots in the fourth quarter, one from Lance Briggs at the start of the period that resulted in an unnecessary-roughness penalty and another on his final play, when Stafford was intercepted in the end zone.

HC Jim Schwartz did not address Johnson’s injury status in his weekly news conference, but Stafford was asked whether Johnson will play against Carolina. “I don’t know," he said. "To tell you the truth, I haven’t talked to him about how he’s feeling. But I would hope so. ..." Stay tuned. More as developments warrant.
