According to NBCSports sideline reporter Michelle Tafoya, Ward has had his helmet taken away from him at this time so he can't re-enter the game.

Ward was lit up by Ray Lewis on a play that drew no flag but may draw a fine for being a helmet to helmet hit. Ward indicated that his ankle was bothering him after the hit which may have been an attempt to get back in the game. The Steelers have not released a status on Ward as of this time.
