Palmer, traded from the Bengals earlier this week, has taken the field for his first game action of the 2011 NFL season. The intent was to have Boller play today to give Palmer more time to get the rust off and get more comfortable in his new surroundings with a bye week coming next for the team, but three first-half picks by Boller moved that timetable up.
