“It hurt on the field. Once I was able to shake that off, go to the sideline, come in (locker room), have (trainers) do a little bit more thorough exam, I felt good. I was ready to go and was happy it wasn't worse than it was.” While that is a pretty positive perspective, we'll see what happens to it when he gets off it and it stiffens up a bit. We'll likely get that perspective in Monday's press conference with head coach Mike Smith.
