Chris Russell of ESPN980 in Washington reports that according to multiple sources, the Redskins and medical staff strongly believe that Tim Hightower has a torn ACL.

Hightower is scheduled for an MRI tomorrow and while Hightower himself does not believe he has a torn ACL, we'll side with the medical staff on this issue. That said, the MRI will help to clarify the situation. We'll update you when that news comes available as well as whatever information Mike Shanahan provides in tomorrow's press conference.
