Grossman has always been a streaky quarterback and history tells us that when he implodes, it's time to get him out of there. Shanahan is clearly aware of that history and has now turned to Beck. Shanahan did his best this preseason to build a case that Beck was a legitimate franchise quarterback before awarding the starting job to Grossman.
