Will Bills Be Able To Get Lee Evans More Involved In The Offense?
(6/12 4:53 PT)

The Facts:
It would make sense if Evans, who saw his role in the offense reduced, especially with a host of young, talented receivers behind him. But QB Ryan Fitzpatrick said last week that's not the case. "I'm looking to get [Evans] way more involved in the offense this year," Fitzpatrick told WGR 550-AM in Buffalo, "Some of the attention will go off him and he won't see the constant double-team." Reported by The National Football Post

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Evans, who had 1,000-yard receiving seasons in 2006 and '08, struggled through the least productive season of his career in 2010. The veteran wideout did miss three games, but he was completely overshadowed by Stevie Johnson, who had his breakout season. Worth noting: Evans is due a $1.5 million roster bonus on the fifth day of the new league year. The 30-year old is also due $3.275 million in base salary for 2011. As HC Chan Gailey seemed to suggest earlier this year, the Bills need to get more out of him to justify the money spent with Johnson, David Nelson and Roscoe Parrish -- as well as youngsters Marcus Easley and Naaman Roosevelt -- all capable of pushing for playing time this fall. Evans will need to deliver.
