Jackson: Jacoby Ford Just Scratching The Surface
(6/10 6:50 PT)

The Facts:
Whenever there is football again, HC Hue Jackson said Wednesday that receiver/kick returner Ford will be an even bigger part of the offense. "He's just scratching the surface of what he truly can be," Jackson told the NFL Network.  Reported by the San Francisco Chronicle

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Ford had 148 yards and return touchdown against the Chiefs in Week 9, and 108 yards, a receiving touchdown and a return touchdown against the Dolphins in Week 11, and Jackson said he intends to give Ford the ball more in 2011. "You better believe I do," Jackson said. "Obviously, Jacoby is going to become a household name, because he has some very special ability. He's very good with the ball in his hands -- he's very good without the ball in his hands -- because he draws a lot of attention. ..." With Chaz Schilens' health always a question and Darius Heyward-Bey long on speed but short on football ability (at least to date), the Raiders need somebody to pick up the pace at wideout. Ford and Louis Murphy could both emerge as viable threats in the Raider offense. It remains to be seen if that makes them viable threats for Fantasy Football owners.
