The Facts:
As far as Washington is concerned, the NFL lockout could cause increased injuries whenever football resumes. "The league is about to send guys out there to play in the most physical professional sport without the proper preparation," Washington told TitanInsider. "Now we're talking about livelihood and getting guys heads knocked off that aren't on the same page. We need to be back around the coaches, so we're in the right spots and so things won't go in a negative way."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Washington was one of 40 players working out this week at a Nashville high school to try to get ready for the season. "We all want to win and with a new coaching staff we need to be around them so we all can come together," Washington said. ... The point is well taken -- and shouldn't be overlooked by Fantasy Football owners heading into the regular season. Injuries will be an issue. It might mean more handcuffing; it will certainly demand better in-season management. Time to start giving it some thought.
