The incident isn't exactly blowing over, though. The State Attorney's Office released a statement Tuesday, reiterating its intention to "diligently pursue" the matter. Despite "numerous" efforts, officers have not succeeded in getting Marshall to voluntarily discuss the incident. Marshall’s lawyer says that Marshall will talk if and when the “no contact” order imposed against his wife last month is dropped. As the Redzone.org suggests, considering his history and his wife's self-defense claim, it's fair to wonder if he has something to hide. If nothing else, that history leaves him one incident away from what would likely be a lengthy suspension that could hurt Fantasy Football owners who are counting on him.
