No Ruling On Temporary Stay Again Today... None Expected Before Monday
(5/13 12:59 PT)

The Facts:
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Michael Gans, 8th Circuit Court Clerk in St. Louis, said not to expect any ruling on stay today and not to expect any ruling before Monday. Reported by FootballDiehards.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As Profootballtalk.com reminded readers, on April 29, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit decided to grant a temporary stay of Judge Nelson’s ruling lifting the lockout, in order to give the Eighth Circuit time to rule on the motion for a full stay of Judge Nelson’s ruling lifting the lockout pending the review of Judge Nelson’s ruling lifting the lockout. That was two weeks ago. Since then, the Eighth Circuit has agreed to expedite the entire appeal process. But as PFT's Mike Florio notes, the Eighth Circuit definitely hasn’t expedited the consideration of the motion for a stay. ... More when developments warrant.
