Miami selected Daniel Thomas out of Kansas State in the second round of April's draft and Brown is set to turn 30 in December. Brown, who started all 16 games in 2010 and rushed for 734 yards on 200 carries, has only amassed 1,128 carries in his six-year career (14.8 attempts per game). His teammate, Ricky Williams, believes the arrival of new OC Brian Daboll suggests Miami is prepared to move on, bidding farewell to the 1-2 punch he has formed with Brown since 2005. "We are not the same offense we were two years ago," Williams said. "I think new offensive coordinator. I think they might want to go in a different direction. ..."
