Brown Still Hoping Carson Palmer Will Change His Mind?
(4/16 10:42 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on an ongoing story. ... While the consensus among observers and those who know him best still indicates the Bengals won't have Palmer back, people close to the organization tell me owner Mike Brown still remains hopeful Palmer will change his mind. Reported by CBSSports.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
So reports CBSSports.com's Clark Judge, who went on to advise readers that sources have confirmed to him the Bengals won't consider dealing Palmer this year -- that is, after they're allowed to make trades -- and probably wouldn't for at least a year, maybe longer. That's because Brown OKs the deals, and he's not convinced Palmer is leaving. Judge added that makes Brown "a party of one. ..." Indeed, as previously noted, HC Marvin Lewis seems resigned to the fact that Palmer will make good on his promise to retire before playing another snap as a Bengal and the team appears to ready to address the position with one of their first two draft picks.
